The Monument Quilt by FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture is an ongoing collection of stories from survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture will be hosting Not Alone Baltimore, a month-long awareness campaign in March 2016. The campaign will culminate on Saturday, April 9, 2016, with an installation of The Monument Quilt blanketing two blocks of North Avenue between Howard Avenue and N. Charles Street. FORCE has provided more descriptive information about these projects below.

Space for Survivors Workshop for Students

The second Space for Survivors Workshop will be for students and take place on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6pm-8pm.

Artist Lecture with FORCE

First of two Space for Survivors Workshop with FORCE for the MICA Faculty and Staff from 2-4pm.

On the same date, MICA will be hosting an artist lecture with FORCE about these projects on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 7pm in the Lazarus Center Auditorium.

Studio Visits

Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to sign up for studio visits with the artists of FORCE the week of April 11, 2016.
