Citing in Databases

Usually the database screens will have a CITE function.  You can use this and copy the information. Be advised that this is an electronic device, it may not be correct.  It is your responsibility to check that it is correct.

EBSCO Databases

For EBSCO Databases like Academic Search Premier and Art Source, there is a cite button on the far right side of the screen when you click into the article record.

ARTSTOR

In ARTSTOR, search for an image, click on it, then click "Cite This Item" 

 

 

 

Grove Art Online/ Oxford Art Online

The Cite Button is a small pen icon in the upper right corner of the page 

 

JSTOR

In JSTOR there is a "Cite this item" button in the lower left corner of the page when you click on an article
