Art Education and MAT Research Guide

Elements of a web page

Most web pages that are useful sources, will have elements similar to books and journal articles.  These elements can be used to build a citation for the web page.

Check for:

  1. The author: either a person, group of people, or corporate business.
  2. Title of the web site versus the title of the individual web page
  3. Date of publication
  4. URL address
  5. (note when you accessed the web page too.)
