Usually the database screens will have a CITE function. You can use this and copy the information. Be advised that this is an electronic device, it may not be correct. It is your responsibility to check that it is correct.
EBSCO Databases
For EBSCO Databases like Academic Search Premier and Art Source, there is a cite button on the far right side of the screen when you click into the article record.
ARTSTOR
In ARTSTOR, once you click into an image - then click on Tools and view citations
Grove Art Online/ Oxford Art Online
The Cite Button is usually to the right.
JSTOR
In JSTOR there is a Cite Button to the right, when you click into the article
