About Activity Templates

Did you or an instructor procrastinate on planning an instruction session for a class? Last minute requests? In this section you will find activities of different lengths and objectives that you can plug into any instruction session. These plans outline the structure but not necessarily the content of the instruction sessions. Please feel free to take risks and make them your own, while ensuring that our students get consistent information literacy instruction. Be sure as well to mix and match with the Active Learning Techniques shared on that page of this Resource Guide. Be bold.

“When education is the practice of freedom, students are not on the only ones who are asked to share, to confess.” - bell hooks, Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom
